![]() So that is exactly what I'll be talking about in this year's conference: barriers are broken - in some places (and some firms) - but at the same time more are erected in others. What more, we need to know how to build them to avoid the backlash that so often puts LGBTQ individuals at risk (often in places that are geographically remote). But, I would argue that, in our time, bridges are the key. There are still obstacles and prejudices that LGBTQ+ individuals face, in business and society, and in some places more than others. Yes, we need to keep building bridges and breaking barriers and we can't afford to be complacent. It resonates closely with my work and with the legacy of this conference. ![]() This year's EUROUT theme is 'Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges'. From the backlash against Bud Light over its collaboration with Dylan Mulvaney to Disney's opposition to Florida's “Don't Say Gay” bill, businesses increasingly find themselves in the center of heated social debates - and I am excited to speak about this trend in the upcoming #EUROUT, Europe’s leading #LGBTQ+ business conference hosted at London Business School.
